A casino (from the Italian word for \u201clittle house\u201d) is an establishment for gambling. Modern casinos are often combined with hotels, restaurants, shopping centers and other tourist attractions. Something about the atmosphere of gambling encourages people to cheat and steal, either in collusion or independently. To counter this, most casinos have security measures in place, with cameras and other technical equipment. While there is an element of chance in all casino games, most have a built-in advantage for the house that is mathematically predictable.
