Poker is a card game in which players compete for an amount of money contributed by each player (called the pot). It can be played with any number of players from two to fourteen.<\/p>\n

Once cards are dealt, the player with the highest hand wins the pot. If multiple hands have the same highest hand, the players look at their second highest hands and so on until one of them has a better hand than the others.<\/p>\n
The dealer is the person who is in charge of dealing the cards and acting as a watchdog for the other players at the table. They must ensure that all actions are taken in a timely manner, and that the correct etiquette is followed.<\/p>\n
It is important for the poker dealer to control the table. If a player is not following proper gameplay etiquette, or if they are overly aggressive, the dealer should warn them and call over the floor man to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n
Another important part of playing poker is bluffing. Bluffing is a technique whereby you make your opponent think that you have a weak hand.
